Wellbeing & Care
Care is a priority for our Villagers
For most residents, life at The Village at Yeronga is all about staying independent and socially involved. That’s why we offer three levels of care that deliver a range of activities and assistance tailored to meet each resident’s needs.
Social and wellbeing activities
We believe that keeping both your body and mind active is the key to enjoying life and staying healthy. To do so, we offer a number of regular activities for residents. Whether it’s joining in our walking group, having fun in our line dancing classes, playing Bridge or mahjong each week, going out on a day trip or singing in our choir, there’s a group activity for most interests. You can also tinker away in our Men’s Shed, create a masterpiece in our arts and crafts classes or simply potter away happily in the communal herb and vegetable garden.
We can arrange care support and/or care services on your behalf or through a government subsidised home care package. These services include:
- assistance accessing home care services
- daily meals
- cleaning and laundry
- medical and nursing
- allied health (physiotherapy, podiatry and audiology)
- personalised exercise programs.
Extra care is right on hand
Adjacent to The Village at Yeronga is the brand new Regis Aged Care building. This first class, 100-bed care facility is operated by one of Australia’s largest and most acclaimed aged care providers. If the time comes, it enables a seamless transition from independent living into aged care. Its close proximity also means that couples can still be close to each other if one requires additional care.
